The number
A KPI has no due date, and that is exactly what makes it a KPI rather than a key result. It hangs off the pillar it measures and it either stays healthy or it does not.

Where the number comes from. A KPI with no source is a number nobody can check, and Corto will not show one.
the company’s own reading A KPI added here counts as something you read rather than something a system produced, until it is wired to the record it names. It is shown that way everywhere, never as a filed figure.
