Maintenance carries a company goal out of an expectation nobody wrote
What is missing
Maintenance is one desk on Corto. It is the only department with no expectation card — that one was skipped — and obj-uptime is the only department goal in the company that came from no expectation at all.
What it stops
- A breakdown stops being the reason a customer was told no
- The one-year on-time marker
A goal with no written expectation behind it has nothing to be read against when it slips: there is no sentence saying what good looks like, so a miss is an argument rather than a fact. And with one desk there is nobody to hand it to on the day that desk is out.
What would close it
Write the Maintenance card, or move the goal onto Production's, where you already said Dilip sits. Either is a decision; leaving it is not.
What it is worth
The direction is clear and the size is not. What a breakdown costs would be read from the dispatch tracker against the promised date, and that read has not been done — so this says which way it points and no more.
Read from Employee master spreadsheet supplied by the company · EPFO establishment search — monthly contributions — Read from the org chart and the goal records. How often the plant actually stops, and for how long, is in a log this pass cannot parse.
Accepting this tells Dilip (Maintenance) at the same moment you are told, in their own terms. Nothing they are measured on moves unless they agree to it.
